Products of oil refinery processes.

Oil Tree:

A tree describing various products

Various products resulting from oil processing are illustrated in the form of a tree.

In this tree, these products are placed from the top to the bottom in the order of the oil fractions obtained through distillation and other processes.

These products from top to bottom are among others:

1. The gas fraction becomes LPG,
2. The naphtha fraction becomes vehicle and lighter fuels,
3. The kerosene fraction becomes petroleum and aviation fuel. By arranging the boiling point, it can become solvents for paints and insecticides.
4. The diesel fraction becomes automotive diesel oil (ADO), and industrial diesel oil (IDO). Through cracking, it can become: films, plastics, synthetic tires, nylon fibers, polyester fibers, paints, medicine or detergents,
5.

The lubricant fraction becomes lubricants. If paraffinic oil is processed, the results are candles, batik wax, wax coat for paper, or cosmetic materials,

6.

The residue fraction becomes industrial fuel oil (IFO),marine fuel oil (MFO). If asphaltic oil is processed, the result will be asphalt, which can become a material for synthetic carpets, synthetic roofs or protective paints.
